After our summer break with an Exploration of Meditation and Sharing our Spiritual Journeys, Not Church resumes our regular gatherings.
We’ll be meeting on the second Sunday of each month, 10AM at Poco Cielo in La Misión and at 5pm on the fourth Wednesday of each month in Rosarito at the Beach Comber.
Of course, everything can change at the drop of a hat, so stay tuned here and on the Not Church Facebook page for all the up to date information.
We hope you enjoyed your summer and hope to see you soon.
August 11 and August 18 2:00 to 4:00pm
Hosted by Anna Zimmerman with Bodhi Martina
The study of the Enneagram points quite clearly to the pragmatic reasons why we sometimes struggle or feel discontent. It simply points the way into looking deep enough under the layers of conditioning to find our true nature. It clarifies who we are IN our day to day lives, what serves our inner awakening and what does not. It naturally follows that we will understand others and what causes habitual misunderstanding. Suddenly relationships begin to make sense and compassion has a chance to grow.
In the practice of Enneagram we learn to drop the blame for our fate and take a clear look inward using the map of the nine personality types. This map, developed over the centuries, is a system of self-observation and enquiry. Understanding the Enneagram is a practical guide.
Those who are serious about introducing this powerful tool of well-being and support into their lives are invited to two free introductory Enneagram workshops to be held in the La Misión area, one on August 11 and the other on August 18 from, both are from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
What can be done to quiet our raging or worried mind and give us peace? What are your life’s lessons that you’d like to share?
At a special Summer Not Church on August 22, we will gather to listen to one another share about each other’s spiritual journey. In this safe place we hope to hear what has worked for you, is working for you to feel more grounded, more in love with this life, with ourselves and one another.
